Johnathan Colling, MD
Dr. Colling has practiced medicine in the Omaha area for over 15 years. Born and raised in South Dakota, he moved to Omaha to attend UNO where he wrestled on the varsity squad. In that timeframe he also joined the US Army National Guard.
He earned his MD at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
He easily connects with his patients in an informal way even as he brings a background of deep experience and technical competence.
Dr. Colling began residency training in Family Medicine in Lincoln before shifting to the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City for his Emergency Medicine residency.
He moved back to Omaha after completion of his training and has served in various hospital Emergency Departments in the area.
In 2023, he joined Family Medicine at Legacy where blends his knowledge in the full spectrum of medical care with his experience in acute care.
With his wife Holly, Dr. Colling has three children (and a few chickens).
Honors: UNO Athletics Academic All American. US Army National Guard nominee Soldier of the Year.
